London teams compete at the Not In My Game tournament in East London

On Saturday 18 September a NIMG tournament was held in Canary Wharf, East London, at the indoor cricket arena “Play On”. It was an action packed day with teams from across London competing for a chance to win ODI tickets and cricket kits.

The event gave London cricketers the chance to support Not In My Game and take a stand against terrorism in sport. Pakistani rock star Salman Ahmad from Junoon, squeezed in time in his UK flood relief efforts to come and show his support for the campaign.

Salman talked about his love of the game and the need to unite to take a stand against terrorism in sport.

Massive congratulations to the winners of the tournament – Wanstead Royals – who got to watch the Pakistan vs. England ODI live at Lords!

Winners of the cricket tournament at Canary Wharf this Saturday will win tickets for England vs Pakistan in the fourth ODI at the home of the cricket Lords, on Monday 20 September.

Don’t forget

If you love sport, say Not In My Game and get invovled in a Cricket tournament in Canary Wharf.

The tournament will be taking place on Saturday 18th September in the exclusive INDOOR Sports Arena, 100 Preston’s Road, (nearest tube Canary Wharf).

Arrival from 1030am- with the tournament to end with prize-giving at 5pm.
Teams must have at least 6 players and all MUST be over the age of 14.
